The site: Stadthaus Zug

Description of the painting project:

A horizontal triptych composition of acrylic paint on wood inserted along the niche on 2 paneled walls.

The aim:

The intention is to create a visual game using the unusual dimensions of the frame given. I aim to implement some of the formal elements that often appear on my artworks; a combination of organic lines and geometrical shapes

On the left wall the lines and shapes will expand along the horizontal dimension, creating a stretching effect.

On the right wall, the elements will be implemented vertically through a rhythmical gradient of shades that appear to be condensed.
